You are now able to download the teachings from Faithwalkers 2006 (both main sessions and seminars). I suggest getting them, even if you went to the conference. Way too much wisdom was shared for a simple "one time" listening. Put them on your iPod (or whatever...)

After getting kicked out of two locations on campus because of the high level of production (ie, we are too loud and crazy), The Rock will gather in 1210 LeBaron Hall (the Auditorium). Matt Heerema will be speaking on Ephesians 2, and The Rock Band will make enough noise (all of it joyful) to get us kicked out of this location as well. Tell all your friends!

The Rocks Cry Out...

Feeling embarrassed by the Jews’ enthusiasm for Jesus, the Pharisees told Jesus to shut them up. Jesus replied to them saying, “I tell you, if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.†(Luke 19:40) Here we are 2000 years later and now it’s me feeling uncomfortable about identifying with Jesus and The Rock. While standing in a bar line on Welch Ave., a man who was “stone†drunk shouted out, “The Rock rocks!†over and over again. It should have been me crying out. Jesus is the Rock of Ages, the cornerstone upon which all of life rests. This semester, I will not be ashamed to proclaim His name nor be identified with His people. Welcome to The Rock, people, I’m with them.

The Rock is a branch of Stonebrook Community Church that focuses on college students and twenty-somethings.
We seek to show this generation the meaning of Jesus Christ's message through small group support, teaching, worship opportunities, and service to our community.
